You've heard of speed dating to sell your romantic qualities, but how about your business skills?
The Greater Topeka Chamber of Commerce held a "speed marketing" event Wednesday at the Holiday Inn. Chamber VP of Marketing Adrianne Evans says it's meant to cut down on cold calls and give businesses a chance to network with several of their colleagues while enhancing presentations and improving sales skills.
Marketers had four minutes to meet with personnel from each of the nearly 100 businesses on hand.
It's the second year for the event.
