PRATT, Kan. (AP) _ The National Weather Service says tornadoes that swept through Kansas last night caused no damage or injuries.

Meteorologists with the weather service office in Dodge City said Tuesday morning that they still had no reports of any problems from the tornadoes that went through Pratt and Kiowa counties in south-central Kansas.

The tornadoes were reported between 6 p.m. and 7:10 p.m. Monday.

The Pratt County Sheriff's Department said the tornadoes came within about two miles of Pratt, but did not hit the town. The department said no damage or injuries were reported.

There were also additional reports of 2.75 inch hail in Hodgeman County earlier in the afternoon.
