Mount Hope Cemetery and Mausoleum hosted their annual Memorial Day program Monday morning.
A large crowd listened to songs and speeches during the short ceremony. Lieutenant Colonel Michael Erwin of the Kansas National Guard, was the main speaker. He talked about his experience during his deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The event wrapped up with Don Dabney playing Taps.
