A Topeka man charged with sexually assaulting a five-year-old relative has been denied a new trial.
32-year-old Christopher Henderson was found guilty in April on one count of rape with a child. He admitted to sexually abusing a young girl who was admitted to the hospital for surgery after the June 2006 offense.
Henderson's sentencing is set for June 24th. He's expected to get between 12 and 14 years in prison.
