Kansas Soldiers come Home from Iraq

Family and friends waited with open arms as their hometown heroes stepped foot on Kansas soil once again.

Nearly two hundred Kansas national guardsmen from the 35th Military Police company returned to Kansas from Iraq Friday. An incredible day of smiles and tears of joy at Washburn University's Lee arena. The soldiers spent the last year in Iraq as part of the 35th military police company, conducting militray police operations.
