Four Kansas educators are earning recognition for inspiring their students.
They are the recipients of the Washburn University teachers who inspire award.
The four were honored at a reception on Washburn's campus Friday night.
They are Cynthia Ayers from Pomona High School, Ann Davis from Stanton County High School, Jori Daily from Wallace County High school, and Jardine Middle school's Euzell Ball.
"This is the highest honor I've received yet. I've been in the school system roughly 19 years and this is one of the highest honors I've received yet," said Euzell Ball, Jardine Middle School Teacher.
