Topeka City Council members dug into a busy agenda Tuesday, and the helicopter lease purchase agreement was still on the table.
Council members talked over the legal language in their resolution to terminate the lease-purchase deal.
The attorneys on the council, Bill Haynes and Richard Harmon were given up to thirty more days to write a termination agreement.
They want the deal clearly labeled "null and void" and that it does not comply with the state's cash basis law.
