The SCCA Runoffs will not be returning to Topeka for the forseeable future. it has signed a three-year deal with Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisc.

There is a chance the SCCA's could return to Topeka after that contract is up. Jim Parrish, hotel owner and racing supporter, says it is important this year's races, the final runoffs in Topeka, is a huge success to show the capital city is a viable market.

Jesse Prather, hometown racer who has won the race both times it has been in Topeka, thinks the city is the perfect location for the runoffs, especially because it is in the middle of the country.

The SCCA praised the work of Heartland Park, saying they have met every challenge of the last few years.
