Soldiers return to Fort Riley from Iraq Monday

Approximately 75 soldiers are set to return from Iraq to Fort Riley Monday.

The soldiers are from the 977th Military Police company. The unit is returning from a 15 month tour. A ceremony is tentatively set for six p.m. Monday on Custer Hill.

Eleven soldiers from the unit have already returned and will also be at the ceremony.

Two soliders, Specialist Brain Ritzberg and Sergeant James Collins Jr. with the unit were killed during the deployment.
