Two Topeka teachers with a combined 57 years teaching children in our community are ready to start a new chapter in their lives.
When the school year ends later this month, USD 501 teachers Patti Goehring and Cheryl Rowh will retire. Both teach at French Middle School and were the guests of honor at a reception Wednesday.
Once the final bell rings, Patti plans to spend more time with her husband, who retired last year. Cheryl also plans ot enjoy some leisure activity and maybe retire in Costa Rica someday.
Patti has been teaching for 36 years, Cheryl for 21.
