Holocaust and Victims Remembered

The second floor rotunda at the Statehouse was packed as people gathered for the the state's annual Holocaust commemoration.

Judy Jacobs, a Holocaust survivor, shared her story of being held by the Nazis as a young girl.

The event honors the memory of the more than six million people killed at the hands of the Nazis.

Organizers say it is important for young people to hear the story.

A candle lighting ceremony and music were also part of the ceremony.
