It's a perfect end to a great career.

The skies were clear and the winds were calm as three members of the 190th Air National Guard took to the skies for the final flight of their careers.

Col. John Owen a full time surgeon, Lt. Col. Tim Meyer a pilot, and Col. Greg Burden the retired 190th commander weren't planning to do any refueling during their last flight with the KC-135 but they ended up doing just that, refueling a B-52 near Salina.

Once the men were back on the ground they were sprayed down with hoses by family members and then treated to a champagne toast.

We wish all three gentlemen the best.
