With a chance for severe weather later this week, Shawnee County Emergency Management officials were pleased to hear the sound of sirens Tuesday.
A technician from a Missouri company was in town todaym looking at all twelve sirens that didn't go off in Monday's test.
Emergency Management Director Dave Sterbenz says the technician did a manual reset on each one, and all now seem to be working.
Sterbenz says it's not known why they didn't function Monday, crew continue checking all the signal relays.
Sterbenz says be prepared to hear sirens sound three times in next monday's test.
