More problems with the Shawnee County's Emergency Sirens.
A test today showed one siren too quiet to be effective, and 12 sirens not going off at all.
Technicians are getting to the bottom of the problem.
It is not believed to be the same radio transmitter problem that caused no sirens to sound last week.
Emergency management officials say the shortcomings show the sirens shouldn't be your only source for warnings.
If you're concerned about weekend weather, you may want to look into that radio soon.
The next test is not scheduled until next Monday.
