"Chocolate Indulgence" was a benefit for St. Francis Children's Miracle Network and coincides with Administrative Assistants Day, April 23.
Kiwanis Club of Berryton helped put on the event. A chocolate buffet with all types of chocolate snacks from restaurants and bakeries in and around the Topeka area set up for a taste-testing panel.
About 200 people attended Wednesday's "Chocolate Indulgence" to sample chocolate works from 24 commercial entries and 10 individuals.
Judges selected Perkins Restaurant as winner of the taste-test for the 2nd year.
This is the eight year for the "Chocolate Indulgence" event and the third year since Kiwanis Club took charge of it.
Tickets to the event were $5. Proceeds will benefit St. Francis Children's Miracle Network.
