A few blocks of Topeka roadway were blocked off during rush hour Tuesday evening after a motorcycle and truck collided.
The accident happened at about 5:30 p.m. at 17th and Stone, just east of Gage.
Police say the motorcycle was eastbound on 17th and the truck was northbound on Stone, stopped at the intersection.
Police say the motorcycle hit the front end of the truck. They are not yet saying who is at fault for the accident.
The motorcycle rider was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A juvenile passenger in the pickup was transported with minor injuries to a local hospital, treated and released.
