Two Overnight Altercations Send Two to Hospital

Topeka police are still investigating two incidents that sent two people to the hospital.

Police say the first incident happened around 4:25 Tuesday morning when they were called to a local hopspial in reference to a gun shot wound.

Police say a 17-year-old male with non life threatening injuries reported that he was shot in the 200 block of Southwest Western.

Authorities say the second incident, a fight, happened around 5:30 Tuesday morning at 316 Southeast 29th street.

Police say 31-year-old Robert Johnson of Wakarusa was cut in an altercation with someone he knew.

Police say Johnson had non-life threatening injuries and that the suspect in that case had left the area prior to their arrival.
