LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) -- Campus police are investigating this week's theft of 18 expensive computers at the University of Kansas.
The Lawrence Journal-World reports the laptops are valued at more than $30,000.
The theft occurred at the university's Art & Design building. Investigators aren't sure when it happened, but someone reported it to public safety officials around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Authorities say someone cut a lock off a cart to steal the computers.
