MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- Riley County police say a Manhattan business was the victim of unauthorized bank account withdrawals over the span of several months, totaling thousands of dollars.
On December 15, 2012, the Riley County Police Department was advised of the reported thefts at 451 Protection, a fire protection equipment company on McCall Road in Manhattan.
Officials say the crimes took place from Oct. 31- Dec. 13. According to an RCPD spokesman says $17,300 in cash was taken from the business using their account at Kansas State Bank.
The suspect is unknown and the investigation continues.
