Jazz and Poetry Fill the Brown Historic Site

Its not everyday you can listen to jazz and poetry at a national historic site but many people in Topeka got that opportunity Saturday.

Lift Every Voice and Speak was hosted by the Brown Foundation, Brown vs. Board of Education National Historic Site and the Coleman Hawkins Legacy Jazz Festival.

The poetry and jazz session featured artists Kynan Yep Ramsey, Glenn North, Shavonne Queen Standifier and the Jazz Disciples.
