Renovated Housing Program

A renovated housing program for homeless veterans will help an estimated 10-thousand veterans.

The US housing and urban development department and the department of veterans affairs are putting 75-million dollars into the program.

It will provide permanent supportive housing for homeless veterans.

The program is expected to help 35 veterans in Topeka, another 35 in Wichita and 105 more in Leavenworth.
