Ammonia Leak Forces Evacuation

IUKA, Kan. (AP) _ Some residents in the central Kansas town of Iuka evacuated Tuesday night while waiting for hazardous-materials crews to arrive to the scene of an anhydrous ammonia leak.

Pratt County officials knocked on doors of homes in part of the town near the Iuka Coop.

The Red Cross has set up a shelter in Pratt for displaced residents. No injuries have been reported.
