BONNER SPRINGS, Kan. (AP) _ Investigators suspect foul play in the death of a 48-year-old nursing home resident in Bonner Springs.
Police said Monday they're investigating the death of a William Webb as a homicide. The Wyandotte County district attorney's office says prosecutors are waiting for autopsy results before ruling whether Webb's death was a homicide.
Officers were called to Bonner Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Sunday to assist in an ambulance call. A police report said Webb knew his alleged attacker, who was listed as an acquaintance.
Authorities did not say whether anyone was in custody or release other details of what happened.
Administrators at the facility had no comment.
