The tulips at Binkley's garden remain in hiding from the cold weather.
Gerald Binkley says the colder than normal temperatures are keeping the blooms at bay for the annual "Tulip Time" display. He says this week's warmer temperatures should bring them out - and bring the visitors, too!
Binkley says, since the flowers stalled, "Tulip Time" has been extended through April 24th. With Wanamaker closed due to construction, visitors should use SW 45th and Gage to get to the home. The garden is open from 9 am to 5 pm each day.
This is the 22nd and final year for the event. Proceeds benefit the Topeka Beautification Association.
