Attorney General Stephen Six says he is committed to defending a funeral picketing law in Kansas.
The legislature passed the ban last week and Gov. Kathleen Sebelius signed it into law Thursday. It's aimed at preventing protests of the Westboro Baptist Church at funerals for fallen soldiers.
Six says he strongly supports the ban on picketing at funerals and will defend it against any legal challenge. He says he believes the law can be enforced while protecting free speech.
