OLATHE, Kan. (AP) _ Authorities say the northbound ramp onto Interstate 35 from 119th St. in Olathe reopened Tuesday afternoon, after being shut down for several hours by a diesel fuel spill.

Olathe firefighters say the tank on an 18-wheeler was damaged when it collided with another truck at around 7 a.m. Tuesday, leaving traffic unable to get onto northbound I-35 from 119th.

Officials said a private contractor was called to the scene to clean up the spill, which totaled 40 gallons. Only about 1 gallon of fuel entered a storm drain near the crash site.
