The former Mission Valley High School principal accused of theft is awaiting her first court appearance.

The Wabaunsee county District Attorney says 47-year-old Kimberlee Anderson will appear for a pre-trial conference on April 15th.

Anderson was charged with three counts of criminal complaint and three counts of misdemeanor theft after allegedly taking small amounts of currency from a teacher's office.

Anderson entered a not guilty plea and posted the five hundred dollar cash bond.

Mission Valley USD 330 terminated Anderson's contract at their last board meeting according to superintendent Jim Markos.
