New Homeland Security Center

A new facility will help state and local agencies work together to keep us safe.

Wednesday Governor Kathleen Sebelius, Congresswoman Nancy Boyda and Adjutant General Tod Bunting announced the grand opening of the Eisenhower center for homeland security studies in Topeka.

They say the center will provide tremendous resources to further enhance cooperation and partnerships for local, state and federal homeland security professionals.

The agencies will practice those plans at a training center in Salina..
