Firefighters and hockey players teamed up to raise funds for the 25th annual State Capitol area firefighter association training also known as S.C.A.F.F.A.
For every ticket sold to the Topeka Roadrunners game tonight, the Roadrunners will donate a dollar back to S.C.A.F.F.A.
Roadrunner players wore special firefighter jerseys which will be auctioned after the game.
The goal of S.C.A.F.F.A. is to have a quality training program at an affordable cost.
Over 600 firefighters and law enforcement officers attend the week long S.C.A.F.F.A. training every year.
