Grab the Easter baskets -- and get ready to hunt for all those goodies!
The annual Governor's Easter Egg Hunt hops off at 11 am Saturday on the Cedar Crest grounds, just north of I-70 and Fairlawn in Topeka.
Free shuttles start running at 9 am from the Security Benefit parking lot on 6th between Fairlawn and Wanamaker. The last shuttle leaves at 10:40 am.
If it's raining, candy will be handed out at the Curtis State Office Building parking garage downtown.
Shawnee County Parks and Recreation is also sponoring Easter egg hunts Saturday. One is at the Paris Community Center, 6715 SW Westview Rd. in South Topeka at 10:30 am. Another is at 9 am at the Auburn Community Center, 121 W 11th in Auburn.
