Jurors Thursday afternoon began deliberating the attempted murder and second degree murder charges against Antwan Peppers.

Peppers is accused of shooting Terrell Hayes-Osby and killing Jermaine Cunningham outside Terry’s Bar downtown in 2006.

The shooting happened 12 hours after a shooting Hayes-Osby pleaded guilty to.

D-A Robert Hecht said the shooting may have been in retaliation for that first shooting..

Peppers' trial began last week as part of a plea deal, Hayes Osby testified against him.
