TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)--The rainforest is here in Topeka.
The Topeka Zoo reopened its tropical rainforest exhibit to the public.
The dome habitat had been under construction since last January.
Now that it is reopened guests can get up close and personal with the animals, plants and even the heat of the rainforest.
The tropical rainforest exhibit has been at the zoo for more than 35 years.
