13 News Remains Most Watched In Northeast Kansas

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- WIBW Television received some good end-of-year ratings news coming from the Nielsen Company. The recently completed 28-day November sweeps period showed 13 News winning every major news time period by an extremely wide margin.

WIBW-TV Vice President and General Manager Jim Ogle was especially pleased at the strength of the Morning News, and 5, 6 and 10 News Monday-Friday.

Following is the audience breakout for Monday-Friday Newscasts. A share of an audience can be defined as the percentage of television sets tuned to a program (44 shares = 44 percent of all television sets turned on are watching a specific program):

5-6 a.m. M-F

Ogle pointed out that the shares in the 5-county Topeka Metro area showed a larger winning percentage than in the overall 17-county marketing area.
