ROME -- UK news source, The Telegraph, reports Monday that a spokesman says Pope Benedict XVI will resign at the end of the month.
"The pope announced that he will leave his ministry at 8:00 p.m. on February 28," said the spokesman, Federico Lombardi.
There has been speculation the Pope may be stepping down for health reasons, but The Telegraph reports there was no immediate official comment from the Vatican.
