Mexico Bus Crash Kills Soccer Team Doctor, News Agency Says

MEXICO CITY, Mexico (CNN) - The doctor for a youth soccer team died Tuesday when the squad's bus collided with a tractor-trailer in central Mexico, the official news agency said.

Four other passengers on the bus, including two players, were injured in the crash, the government-run Notimex news agency said.

Ricardo Alejandro Herrera Flores was the doctor for the Chivas de Guadalajara U-17 soccer team.

No official cause for the accident was immediately available, but Notimex reported the bus crashed into the back of the truck's double trailer, which was hauling corn.

The injured were identified as Manuel Martinez Iniguez, 36, and Parra Zepeda, 31, and players Cesar Arturo Vazquez,17, and Oscar Torres, 17.

The accident happened near the city of Jalostotitlan, in southwest central Mexico.
