(CNN) — Two car bombs killed eight police officers and injured 50 other people Sunday afternoon in an attack on police headquarters in the Iraqi city of Ramadi, according to Interior Ministry officials.
The wounded included civilians and police officers.
Ramadi — a Sunni city in Anbar province — is about 62 miles (100 km) west of Baghdad.
