Indonesia Quake Toll Rises To 25, Agency Says


JAKARTA, Indonesia — The death toll from the 7.0-magnitude quake that struck Indonesia’s Java island Wednesday afternoon has risen to at least 25, according to Indonesia’s National Disaster Coordination Agency.

Another 50 are feared dead, the agency’s representative Priyadi Kardono said.

Previously, the death toll was 14.
