Cold weather did not prevent kids from enjoying a great experience at this afternoons Outdoor Kansas Kids Day.
Around seventy kids participated in the event sponsored by the kansas wildscape society.
Organizers expected a larger turnout but plenty kids had fun nonetheless.
Youthful outdoor lovers enjoyed b.b. gun shooting, fishing, hiking and a horse petting zoo.
The event has been sponsored by the Kansas Wildscape Society for the past several years.
