TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- A woman barricaded herself in a home after shooting her dog, police said Friday.
Police responded to a call of shots fired in the 1500 block of Mulvane around 4:15 p.m. Friday.
A woman at a home barricaded herself inside, refusing to come out.
Just after 4:45 p.m. the woman was taken from the house and put into police custody.
According to police, the woman shot her dog. A motive for the shooting was not immediately released.
