Police ID Woman Found Dead In Southwest Topeka
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Topeka Police say a woman found dead in a south Topeka field Tuesday likely passed away from natural causes.
The woman was identified Wednesday as Ute S. Rivera-Prat, 31, of Topeka.
Authorities say a passer-by found Rivera-Prat around 11:45 Tuesday morning in a wooded area near Southwest 38th and Topeka Boulevard.
A police spokesperson says the death does not appear suspicious.
The investigation continues, and police ask anyone with information to call detectives at 368-9400 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 234-0007.
