Will Clipper Sale Go Through?

LA (CNN)-- In response to Shelly Sterling's announcement of a deal to sell the L.A. Clippers, Donald Sterling's attorney said: "Mr. Sterling is looking at the whole situation and evaluating where to go from here." Attorney Maxwell Blecher added: "He doesn't want a fight with Shelly. That's the bottom line."

Assertions that Donald Sterling is mentally incapacitated are a "vast overstatement," his attorney Maxwell Blecher told CNN. Blecher said Sterling had a diagnosis of a "modest mental impairment" and a "slowing down." He said Sterling is "far from being incapacitated," Blecher said.
