WICHITA, Kan (WIBW) -- Wichita Police said a woman's body found in a home late last week had been there for months.
Police were called to a home in the 100 block of South Nevada Friday evening. A neighbor had called police because newspapers were piling up on the porch.
Inside the home officers found the body of a man in his 60s. He had died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
While checking the home, officers found the body of the man's mother. Police believe she had been dead since September or October.
Police compared the scene to a hoarder's home. Investigators will wait on autopsy results to determine how the woman and man died.
