WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE)— A man who was run over by a car twice in northeast Wichita Tuesday remains in critical condition.

The incident started around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at a parking lot near 21st and Rock Road.

Police said two men were fighting inside an olive green Cadillac in the parking lot. One of the men got out and walked towards the back of the Best Buy store, while the other man followed in his car.

Officers said the driver then ran over the other man, then backed over him, got out, hit him and took his money. He then drove away and hit another car on the way out of the parking lot.

The car was located in the 2400 block of North Delrose Tuesday afternoon, and the suspect was taken into custody.

He's been identified as 59-year-old Reginald Doyle McCraw. He was booked for attempted first degree murder and aggravated robbery. He has previously served time in prison for robbery, burglary, theft and aggravated battery.

The 33-year-old victim remains in critical condition and has so far been unable to speak with police.
