TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Judges helped kick off constitution week activities today at West Indianola Elementary.
Kansas Court of Appeals Judge Karen Arnold-Burger spoke to students at West Indianola Elementary on the importance of the constitution and our founding fathers.
Judge Burger broke students up into three groups,prosecution,defense and judicial branch.
The reenactment taught the students the value of due process and the seriousness of the U.S.Constitution.
Former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor has made it her passion to go around the country to improve civics education in this country.
