TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Local law enforcement used the weekend to help protect the lives of Shawnee County residents.
The Shawnee County Sheriff's office conducted a DUI saturation patrol Friday night from 10:30 pm until 2:30 am Saturday.
Overall, there was 1 driver tested for DUI,1 warrant arrest,23 traffic stops and 17 warning tickets.
The mobilization was funded by a grant awarded by the state for the purpose of preventing, detecting and apprehended impaired drivers.
