TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Two water main breaks are to blame for closing part of a Topeka street Friday.
According to the City of Topeka, SW 17th Street is narrowed to one lane in each direction at SW McAlister and SW Green Acres: one lane on the south leg of each road. Both McAlister and Green Acres are closed to through traffic.
The City didn't give an estimate for reopening of McAlister and Green Acres south of 17th Street. Repairs are being made.
