Water Line Break Closes Topeka Intersection
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The City of Topeka closed the intersection of SW 17th & Fairmont for two weeks beginning Tuesday.
The reason for the closure is to allow crews to fix a water line break under 17th Street from Fairlawn Road to Belle Avenue.
According to City of Topeka Engineering, Traffic Section, the intersection will be closed from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday (10/23) to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.
