(WIBW) - Cox crews have completed repairs to a cut line, restoring WIBW-TV's broadcast signal.
COX Internet lines that carry the WIBW-TV signal from a studio to a transmission tower went down around 3:30 pm Wednesday. The problem mean WIBW-TV could not be viewed on Cox, as well as other systems which received the WIBW-TV 13.1 and 13.2 signal via the line, including over-the-air and several other pay services.
COX crews completed repairs shortly after 6:30 pm Wednesday. Some viewers may need to rescan their system in order to resume receiving WIBW-TV.
With the signal restored, live streaming of programming - except for 13 News programs - has ceased.
WIBW-TV appreciates the patience of its viewers during the technical problem.
