WIBW-TV engineers believe they have resolved problems with the broadcast signals for 13.1 and 13.2.
Recent power hits gradually brought down the station's transmission equipment. The result was off-air and some cable and satellite viewers could not receive the signal. Engineers worked 18 hours overnight and through the day Friday replacing and reprogramming various components.
Engineers believe the problems are resolved. However, they say people may still have trouble with channel guides and with the CBS surround sound.
Viewers who lost the signal may need to rescan their televisions and boxes before being able to view 13.1 and/or 13.2 again.
WIBW-TV thanks everyone for their patience during the process.
