WIBW Channels Slate Election Night Coverage

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Tuesday night's general election results will be updated minute-by-minute throughout the WIBW Channels.

CBS News begins its coverage of the Presidential returns at 6 pm Tuesday on WIBW-TV, when the first polls in the nation close. Because of that, 13 News at 6 will be seen on MyTV, 13.2.

Televised coverage of Kansas election returns will begin shortly after Kansas polls close at 7 pm. Continuously updated numbers will be carried on the lower third of the television screen. A team of nearly 30 people will be working to update those numbers and results of more than 70 area races in all. The latest numbers can be found online throughout the night at www.wibw.com/elections.

CBS will provide WIBW-TV time to update local races at 25 and 55 minutes after the hour. 13 News will bring you the latest numbers as well as live reports from Republican and Democratic watch parties. A roundup of the latest local results will happen in a half-hour report on 13 News at 10 before WIBW returns to CBS News coverage of the Presidential race.
